The Saudi Dakota legislature passed a bill banning abortion, even in cases of rape and incest. Some highlights:
1. If a rape victim becomes pregnant and bears a child, the rapist could have the same parental rights as the mother, said Krista Heeren-Graber, executive director of the South Dakota Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.
2. Under the measure, doctors could get up to five years in prison for performing an illegal abortion.

I thought we were fighting the religious extremists in Iraq so that we wouldn't have to fight them here in the USA.

Darth Cheney should take the Saudi Dakota legislators who voted for this on a hunting trip.

Am I the only one who is actually really interested by this move? I personally don't agree with it, simply because it's flat out ignoring a Supreme Court precident. I however think it'll be very interesting to see if something like this does (since it should be expected there will be legal action taken) in fact make the Supreme Court.

Actually, no court case has been broken. If you're talking about Roe vs. Wade, all that said was that abortion is legal. However, it did not say that states could not limit it or ban it all together.

The more frightening thing is the state is paying for this using private money donated by pro-life groups who want R v. W overturned. People are paying the state to do their bidding.

Yeah, I don't like the way he used saudi either. Make fun of your own country, saudia arabia didn't even do anything to you, and has nothing to do with this decision. geez, why does everyone have to make fun of islamic countries and islamic figures and islamic people .. get off them for once.
