Excellent colleges with a decent transfer acceptance rate?

<p>Im planning on going to state school for a year and transfering to a good college....what are some great colleges with a decent transfer rate? so far im looking into connecticut college and colgate....id really like to give middlebury a shot but its accepted % is like 5% so its a crapshoot :(</p>

<p>what are some other great liberal arts schools that have an O.K. acceptance rate? (pref. in the new england/NY area)</p>

<p>also looking into vanderbilt, cornell, and georgetown...these are large universities but they are very prestigious and have ok transfer rates.</p>

<p>Penn seems to be <em>relatively</em> gentle to transfer applicants.</p>
