Thank you for posting this, Neobez! I've tried to put it up on the parents' board, too. I thought parents over there might be interested. Thanks for sharing it!

No problem. I too thought it was a great find.

That was quite fascinating! I hadn't heard the term "hover" before.

Wow that was very informative. I wonder if Stanford makes decisions the same way!

I've read that Stanford doesn't use committee and that they only use single reader. but try a search here on CC. Many ppl have posted about it.

My guess is that they don't use a similar system at large schools. Am I correct in this assumption?

That made me feel bad about myself and my chances.

So harsh these college systems are. When the revolution comes... I'll be ready.

Oh yes, I'll be ready.

It's sad how they put so little time in presenting you to committee...

I know some other network (CNN methinks) had something similar on Williams some time ago, anyone has the link to that?

Thanks for posting this, very interesting.

Quite a neat video. PBS always does great work. It's basically everything we've always hypothesized, but now it's actually coming from the mouth of a Dean at a top school.

Dean Parker also puts the whole SAT thing in perspective also.

The most important thing are the grades, so drops in grades can jepordize your chances

is there way to get a direct link of the video to save it to my hard drive?

when you go tho the link, there is a box that says e-mail this. Maybe you could e-mail it to your self and then save it to your hard drive
