Excercises?

One of my goals (out if an unfortunately large and time consuming number) is to get in shape. Does anyone know of a website that lists full body workouts you can do at home?

This is a hard core workout, definitely not for the faint-hearted, and I wouldn’t recommend doing it all at once right off the bat: [WOD: MARSOC SHORT CARD - CrossCoreCombat](http://www.crosscorecombat.com/5/post/2012/11/wod-marsoc-short-card.html). Also, if you’re out of shape, you should talk to a doctor first just to be sure of everything. Plus, make sure you’re eating healthy too.

Doing regular exercises alone won’t help that much though, you also need to do things like running, swimming, biking, etc to really get you into shape.

Run/swim an hour everyday and eat healthy. After a couple of weeks, you’ll start losing a ton of weight.

I’m not like fat and maybe even on the thin side I’m looking mainly at adding muscle instead of just general weight loss.

I’ve recently found this site called BodyBuilding.com. There’s a forum section that is full of useful information. Also, there are plenty men/women on there who know so much about health! For muscle growth you’re going to need to eat MORE calories, and lift. I’m also in a similar situation and I just found this site a few days ago; it’s already helped a lot.

*Exercises

That’s all I have.

(If you just want to get skinny, eating less food will suffice. Exercise isn’t really necessary.)

Eating healthy is a problem. Whenever my parents bring home fruits, fat free yogurt, I always eat it all within the first 3 days leaving me with these frozen dinners. They are really busy and don’t have time to cook. They won’t buy more because they “buy too much already”. I can’t wait until I can drive and go to the store to buy my own foods.

Okay, then tell them to buy ingredients and you cook.

I know you aren’t suppose to work one muscle in your body without working others. Thats why just working out and lifting aren’t really big helps. I’m talking like specific routines.

P90X comes to mind.

But seriously, it’s 80% diet, 20% exercise.

Swimming and running don’t use all of the same muscles, and biking doesn’t use all of the same muscles running does either so I don’t really see the problem…and if you lift you can work different parts of your body.

If you’re serious about adding muscle, you’re not going to make significant gains without access to weights.

Still, if a gym membership is out of the question, you could at least buy a pull-up bar. Body weight exercises aren’t going to get you into the best shape possible, but they’re better than nothing.

Do bench press, squats, cleans, and stuff like that. PM me if you want to talk about stuff.

I run everyday for about 30 minutes. (Usually more like the 27-28 it takes me to do 5 kilometers.) Then once or twice a week ill swim for 30 min. Then once a week ill lift. I’m currently almost 6’1 and I’m rocking it at 166 lbs so I think I’m doing ok.

Nvm. I figured this out. There’s a gym I can work at. Basically what you do is workout and then when people come in you show them around. Also free lunch.
