Exeter Fun (*Chance* Time)

Hello, there....:D

So, my background first. I'm currently a freshman, and I'm applying for the tenth grade in PEA. I'm Pakistani, Muslim, and Female, but I'm not sure what my chances are for getting in:

I have yet to take the SSAT's, but I am practicing for them by using the "Princeton Review" Book thingy.

I've gotten a mix of A's and B's when it comes to grades since middle school. I'm currently in the most challenging classes in my grade for the courses I'm taking.

The only thing that I'm worried about is that my progress report for this term, which is what shows what my grades are at the moment when they're handed out (but are subject to change as the term goes on), was sent by my school as well as my report card. I have straight A's on it, except for Spanish, where I have a C+ and a comment that says I'm missing homework (NOOO dies)

I'm guessing I'd have a kind of okay amount of EC's, but since this is my freshman year in high school, and my previous middle school didn't offer many of them, they're not consistent. And I'm worried about that. =O
Here's the list:

Mock Trial- 1/2 year
Interfaith Youth Leadership Program- 1/2 year

I also assistant teach Arabic to little kiddies for Sunday School at my Mosque. Every Sunday.

I think I have a pretty good handle on writing and speaking, so I'm not too worried about my interview and essays.

.....so do I have a fighting chance? Be brutally honest.

If any of you guys have questions about what I just wrote above, feel free to ask away....

Thanks!

oh, and I forgot to mention- I can speak urdu fairly well, and I can read and write Arabic- if that helps :)

well to be honest I doubt youll get in.
you need more ecs and all A’s for PEa especially applying for tenth grade

aaah that sucks…D: but I guess this is kind of a shabby application compared to the ones I’ve seen on this site, haha…

…but I have a few more, I play tabla, which are basically indian drums, and in my previous middle school, I’ve been part of the student government for two years, and speech club for one…
…may I get credit for that? D:

mkae good on the ssat and then your chances may be ligite

agree with lax4545

ok then… thanks guys! I probably have a slimmer chance of getting in than lotsa other kids, but trying to won’t hurt. that much. haha. I feel like my strengths would be in my interview and essay…

I think you have a good chance. Every situation is unique, and schools know that. Remember that the people who respond to chances threads are 13 year olds who know little more than you do, including me. So I wouldn’t put too much weight on chances threads.
