Exhausted the Bowdoin Virtual Tour? No worries!

It’s trying to attract alumni to donate to the school but if you’re anything like me and check desperately for new pictures, tours, anything on Bowdoin…this may suffice until April…

AHHH it’s almost here…

Merci beaucoup.

Thanks!

T-minus 20 (approximate) days until the Day of Reckoning!

When all you accepted people come up for the accepted students weekend we should have a CC party :-p There are what, 4 or 5 current Bowdoin kids who are on these boards?

'y a pas d'quoi

babelfish translation: "there does not have what"

hunh?

Oliver, I'm going to go to the admitted students weekend. What exactly am I going to do there?

Nice Hitchhiker's Guide reference. It means "you're welcome", I think.

= very informal way of saying "no problem"

haha - altavista has a translation tool they named babelfish, after hitchhiker's.

In terms of what happens - I think you end up eating in our dining halls, sleeping on a current freshman's couch, going to a party or two, visiting some classes - really you get to do what you want.

I didn't go, so I'm not completely sure.

Wasn't just one day where they kinda had a schedule of events on campus for all admitted students? Maybe I didn't go to the right one...

I thought I remember talkign to a friend who did it about them running around the quad at like 2 AM, and going to a frisbee party at helmreich. Might be something else, there are so many different events...

Yeah, there probably were a bunch of them. You find out about all these prospie weekends that you never knew existed once you're here, and they're all dry weekends too...

hahaha 'dry' as in there are no campus wide alcohol parties. The CC party will be optionally not dry.
