Expand my College List?

Hi! I’m graduating in 2020 and i’m thinking of the colleges to add to my college list. I really like schools in big cities like USC, UCLA, NYU. Those are the only schools I can think of right now, and I know they’re reach/target schools. Can anyone help me find some target/safety schools in cities like LA and NYC?

OP hasn’t given any background. No way to name colleges. No idea of stats, hasn’t taken the SAT, has few or no ECs.

Get a Fiske Guide to Colleges. See where you may have a chance based in stats. Then dig into what the colleges say and show they look tor.

It’s not enough to cite some names and LA/NYC. You can want whatever, but need to qualify. The colleges pick their admits, not the other way around.

What can you afford? How much will your parents contribute to your education?

There are a lot of colleges in NYC and within commutable distance to Manhattan. LA has quite a few schools too. You can look at the list of them, look them as to what their test score and grades ranges are to see where you would stand.
