Explaining things on transcripts (that are not bad grades)

So I have some relatively odd things on my school transcript. Here are a few:

  1. Regular geometry credit when math competitions are my strongest EC (I accidentally took the wrong test out lolz)
  2. Transcript only gives me credit for the second semester of AP Stats (since I’m self studying in one semester)
  3. World History went in with honors but doesn’t get counted for honors credit in WGPA since I took it online
  4. (Hypothetical and very likely) Taking an independent study for an AP class for either schedule conflict reasons or unavailability of the class. It goes on transcript as something like “INDEPENDENT STUDY: SCIENCE” and I want to be able to explain what I “independently studied” for credit.

Tl;dr
Is there a good way to clarify these and similar instances on my college application? Should I have my counselor do it? Should I mention it myself? Should I not draw attention to it?

Although I’m not entirely sure about how to mention point 1, I would recommend you at least mention points 2-4 on your application, and could even use these to your advantage, because taking online courses and self-studying shows that you are committed to your learning even when there isn’t a teacher hovering over you, which is a very positive thing to point out.

You can say whatever you want in the Additional Information section of the Common App, but I don’t think you need to worry over little things like this. The only one I would mention is the science independent study, just so they know what it is.

Yeah it was #4 that seemed the most important to note.
Should I still have my counselor explain any of the other things or are they too unimportant to warrant attention?
