Expunged Charge

So my friend (honestly) got an underage drinking charge this summer. She's a senior this year and wants to go to Chapel Hill. Her charge was dismissed for lack of evidence and she got the charge expunged. Does she have to mention this on her Common App? Really was a friend.

Has your friend gone to the CA website, downloaded the application and read #2 about disciplinary history?

It clearly states what she should do in her situation.

So she says yes and then explains it? Won’t that hurt her chances there?

Did you not do as entomom said?

^Thank you Zombie. OP, I am not going to spell it out for you because for questions as important as this, you need to go to the primary source, not just depend on what a stranger says on a discussion board. This is your life (or your friend’s), take charge of it by expending a little energy for your own good.

If you look at what they say in the brackets about expunged charges, the answer is unambiguous.
