I am finishing my junior year of high school and am looking for new extra curricular activities to get involved in over the summer or for senior year. Currently, I am interested in business and sports management but it could really be anything.

What are some extra curricular activities that I can start?

You can get a job or do community service.

I already have a job and am doing a lot of community service over the summer. So something I could start during the school year and it doesn’t need to be paid. I would be able to dedicate a good amount of time to it as well.

Anything you have an interest in, honestly.

I loved music ever since I was young, so I started playing the piano. Been at it for 9 years now.

^^Haha, love your location.

Hmm, sports management? Sounds interesting. You could sign up as a volunteer coach for some rec sports team over the summer. Do you play soccer? Football? Basketball? There are rec teams and sports camps (esp. Christian sports camps, YMCA sports camps, etc.) everywhere. Do some research, find out where they at.

Best of luck, amigo.

Yes, I am interested in sports, journalism and business. I already have a journalism internship and a job helping with a youth basketball league. My focus ultimately would be something business related but another sports activity like being a coach also works. I’m open to all ideas whether it relates to the above or not.

I was a coach for my sport for my summers before sophomore, junior, and senior year. I think if you are interested in sports it would be something good to have on your application because it shows dedication to one activity/cause.
