I got an email five or so days after I discovered the supplemental info request on myberk page..don't worry

rider730: Make sure to check that the school has your current email and check your spam often. If you have the link, can you access it and complete it or it won't let you? Try contacting the admissions department and ask for their advice on what to do. Good luck!

It's funny how I'm finishing mine right now.
I heard it's because we're in the MAYBE pile. I hope they accept me.

YAY
we are all on the bubble.

I think being in the "maybe" pile is way better than being in the "reject" pile, lol.

borderline ppl, tell me ur academic info!!

UC GPA : 4.05
SAT1: 1640
SAT2: math 540. english 480

bunch of clubs, activities, acadeca, yearbook, varsity tennis. etc.

i hope i get in lol. i had to fill in the questionaire yesterday. i wasnt sure when it was due.

any 1st gen or anything like that?

^^no disrespect, but he'd be a "maybe"!?!

if your talking to me dmission, my brother goes to ucla and we are first generation to going to a big school like this.

dontcha: yeah, i was quite suprised myself.

Oranix, IMO your test scores are the reason you are in the maybe pile

Yeah, dontcha, a definite maybe! Remember, stats are simply averages. . . .

Oranix: Honestly, your stats are a bit too low. You must have written a brilliant essay that help put you in the "maybe" pile!! Good Job!

More Stats please!!

if he's 1st gen that'll be why...

can an engineering program at ND (3 wks over the summer) and Cornell (3-day fall) be considered academic outreach programs>?!

Aren't the outreach programs very specific (i.e. there's a list)? You should search for this in the UC forum.

i guess they sent my email late...i just got it today...my questions were different though...anyone else get questions like these?

~describe the special talent you included among your list of extracurricular activities or mentioned in your personal statement on the UC application. (Art, music, dance, debate, athletics, etc.)

~please help us evaluate your skills by providing us with information about the level of your achievement in your talent area. Describe any awards/honors received, positions attained or prizes won in competition as a result of your talent (for example, concertmistress of state-wide orchestra, participation in Junior Olympics for a particular sport, placing in a national debate competition).

~what impact, if any, has your pursuit of your special skill/talent affected your academic achievement?

~how would you further develop your talent at Berkeley?

~fall/spring class schedule and grades

Same questions exactly for me. In my case, it was triggered by a national first place in a sport that was listed in my application.

I kinda think you have the easier of the questions because you can just talk about your passion. I remember last year there was this chick who was this great ballerina that had performed in Austria and that -- in some newspaper in fact. They LOVE unique. If you just show your passion in your responses, they will love that!

that's interesting...if she was that good why not continue and make a career out of it? berkeley doesn't even have a good dance department...there is no way she could have "further developed her talent" at berkeley...

does anyone know if there is a word limit on these questions?
