I want to double major in economics and philosophy and I always hear that it’s best to revolve your subjects, ECA’s, community service etc. to your uni major.
However, I seem to find it hard to find an ECA that is close or related to economics or philosophy.
I’m in the MUN, debate team, captain of the volleyball team and I also assist in the library in my free classes or even after school. I’ve also volunteered in Jordan helping out Syrian refugees.
I really need to know if there are any ECA’s that would go along with my major or be helpful to my major especially when it comes to applying.
Your ECs don’t have to revolve around your potential major. Stay/Become involved in ECs that interest and inspire you.
I haven’t heard this, and I don’t agree. Your activities should be things you are interested in and you enjoy. Admissions committees don’t look at your activities to see if you are qualified to study what you say you might major in.
