I want to work on illustrations and design in The Columbia Jester.
I also plan on joining the Columbia Figure Skating Club. I want to pump up my skating.
Not sure how, but I want to keep up my community service too, and I definitely want an internship at some point.

It’s actually been a dream of mine to work on the Columbia Varsity Show. Also, I really want to get involved with the Barnard Writing Fellow program.

What kind of illustrations/design do you do, figureskater?

I’m just very into art. I’m doing 2 portfolios for AP art, and illustration is a very practical application. I like drawing people and pumping up colors. Also, I’m yearbook editor and I create most of the templates. If PM me if you want to see more, and I’ll show you on facebook.

Your ideas sound very cool! What exactly is the Varsity show? It sounds cool, but I’ve never really known.

I would love to see your work. What about the The Mortarboard, for Barnard? We can’t have Columbia take all your talent x)

The Varsity Show is the yearly student written, produced, directed, and acted musical in which both Columbia and Barnard students take part. I would love to act, but until I’m up to par, it would be fantastic to be a part of it any other way, doing publicity, stage crew, or design. Do you know the Pulitzer Prize winning musical Next to Normal? The writers originally wrote for the Varsity Show. So if I get the chance to be a part of that, I just might faint. Usually the musical is a tongue-in-cheek tribute/parody of the college experience at both Columbia and Barnard. And yes, there are usually a lot of all-women’s school jokes.
