Extracurriculars: Hours Per Week. Include weeks until graduation?

I just got elected as Student Senate at my community college. Takes 4-5 hours a week and I’ve only I done it for 2 weeks. It’s a 28 week commitment (unless I decide to step down which is not happening).

For weeks in a year, by the time applications are due I could put down 6 weeks or do I put in the full 28 weeks I will be doing before graduation.

I saw in another thread (http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1964131-weeks-spent-per-year-in-activities-section.html) that pretty much says I should put 28 but just wanted to check since it is an older thread and the last thing I want to do is get dinged for lying even though that explains everything that I will do before graduation.

I have a few other extracurriculars with this situation (volunteer tutoring and starting a club at CC). So please let me know what you think! Thank you.

You should put down the expected amount of time for that activity. For example, I do Model UN every week of the school year for about 3 hours per week, so I put down the number of weeks in the school year even if the year isn’t completed.

The full 28

Awesome, thank you!
