hi,

i'm currently a junior who is very interested in Claremont McKenna. my grades pretty good (my class does not rank but i am pretty positive i am in the top 25-30%), but i also have a good upward trend and am taking a progressively harder work load each year (i plan on taking 4 AP's next year, the max my school allows as well as taking courses at a community college over summer), and i hope to score in the 2100-up range on the SAT I. what i am concerned about, however, is extracurriculars.

i have been on student government for two years and i plan on running for asb president, and even if i do not win president i still have a guaranteed spot on asb. i am going to apply to be a bank of america student leader over the summer (if that means anything to schools), and i am trying to convince my parents to give me harp lessons. but as i look at all of these early decision threads and see the people who got accepted into great LAC's, i am wondering if i am at all lacking in this department. i know that schools look at quality over quantity, and CMC values leadership, but it still seems that people are doing so much more than me. i am not trying to make up for lost time and join every club that i can, but i am curious as to how much this could affect me.
