Extracurriculars

I am a Freshmen in high school. I really either want to do accounting or actuarial science in college. Which club would help the most with that: math club, entrepreneurial club, and mock trial (interest in law after undergrad). I enjoy all the clubs, but they basically meet on the same day. I don’t think math club has leadership positions.

Go to some meetings and see what you enjoy. Also it is likely you can be involved in more than one club - seek out additional options that meet on other days.

FBLA is a great way to get yourself in there. I recommend checking that out. My friend was in it and he made it to the California State competition level.

Could you explain the urgency of a high school freshman and extra curriculars? “Urgent” in my book normally involves a call to 911.

Take a deep breath. You’re a 14 year old kid. Find activities that you enjoy. Period. You’ll find friends who enjoy the same things you do, and you’ll learn from each other.

MODERATOR’S NOTE:

I agree, and as a result, I edited the title. There is nothing “urgent” about this, and we tend to frown on clickbait.
