Honestly I'm scared that SUNY Bing isn't a match because of the horrendous GPA. I feel like because of that, no college will accept me. GPA is always most important. </p>

<p>well i had a 3.2 and i got into rutgers pre-med, i kno SUNY-Bing's ranking is a little lower than rutgers if im not mistaken...but the SAT score is proly higher than the avg for suny-bing so u should be ok wiht that. how strong is ur courseload / have u enrolled in accelerated, honors, aps? that might change ur situation a bit.</p>
<p>nyu tends to be a little random in selection, my friend got in with a 1900/3.4 early but my other friend wiht a 2190/3.3 got rejected, well the one that got accepted spent a lot of time on his essay, the other, she didnt spend any time at all. both had a few ec's</p>
<p>Were your two friends from the same school? Their weighted GPA might have been very different and/or their rank. Also different programs maybe? Stern is harder to get into than say..cas</p>
