It was not listed as on sale, it just rung up that way.
I was thinking about my eyelashes too. They are thinning. So, you really like Latisse?
It’s honestly amazing. It can make your eyes red, so I try to just get it on the lash line and not in my eyes. It’s completely thickened up my brows. They were so sparse. The generic is called Careprost. You don’t need a prescription to order it from Canada.
That’s great info! I’ve been watching those Latisse ads and just didn’t want to spend the $$. Good to know!
Can you DM me on how you get it in Canada for $10? I’m going there soon. Thanks
Thank you.
I wonder if they just mismatched it, and sold you the two month supply at the 8 week price.
Just a warning to anyone who is considering Latisse or any other prostaglandin-containing serums. Please talk to your ophthalmologist or optometrist if you have dry eye or any other eye issues before using these products. Eyesight is precious. Also, one of the side effects is diminishing fat padding around the eyes. You might end up with beautiful eyelashes and baggy, bluish skin around the eye. Not even talking about the possibility of eye color change for folks with green or blue eyes.
@BB Good point!! I use a prescription eyedrop that has a prostaglandin in it. As a result, I now have really long, thick eyelashes (I have dark brown eyes so my eye color hasn’t changed). I really do have to be careful treating the skin around my eyes. It’s not discolored, but
the fat padding around my eye has definitely thinned. The only makeup I use on my eyes now is a tubing mascara. Anything else irritates the skin around my eye.
I have hazel green eyes and they have not darken using Careprost.
It doesn’t happen to everyone and doesn’t happen instantaneously. Just something to be aware of. This is not GRAS stuff.
My husband has been taking latanoprost prescription drops to control IOP; his eyes did not darken either, at least not yet, but the skin around the eyes definitely looks thinner.
Whoa! I didn’t know about those risks! I use Retin A so my skin is already thin. Might rethink the Latisse-type stuff now…
If you are using bimatoprost for eyelash and eye brow growth, do not apply the drops into your eyes. Put a drop onto a clean thin brush applicator to apply onto the linings of the upper eyelash and on brows. Wipe up any extra solution.
The 2 month supply was $38 and I paid $19.
I use latanoprost to lower eye pressure (high readings, family history of glaucoma). Supposedly there is risk of eye color change, but since I do drops in both eyes figured it would be ok. Have not noticed changes with eye color. Or lashes… but who knows what they would look like with 10 years or aging without drops
Has anyone tried the GrandeBrow Fill along with the serum?
I’ve been using the GrandeBrow for two weeks, and not a single hair has grown. I’m wondering if it’s because that area is micro bladed, and nothing is going to work.
I’ve been using it since the end of April. It says it takes 14 weeks on the box.
What I’m wondering how to get 60 days out of this. Is there really that much serum in each bottle?
Yikes, 14 weeks to see a hair? It’s going to be hard to stick with it!
