So the IDOC was due for Tufts on March 1, but, as much as I bugged my non custodial parent, he wasn't able to file his taxes till a week or two after that so my documents weren't received until March 16.
Does this mean I'm going to receive a smaller financial aid package than I would have if I were on time? (assuming that financial aid is on a first come first serve basis?)
Thanks!

Noncustodial parents are a pain in the butt to deal with when it comes to the possibility of them losing money, at least with mine. My mom took waaaay too long with sending me her tax forms because she was afraid she’d get audited by the IRS. Paranoid, eh?

Anyways, call the financial aid office. But I really don’t think so because I just sent in my IDOC today and checked the Tufts portal and they asked me to just directly send in the copies instead.

Sage advice.
