My biggest pet peeve is getting defriended on Facebook. But then I realized a lot of people that defriended me deleted their accounts and only a few guys that used to like me deleted me. Along with one girl.

I just hate it when I don't know who defriended me and then I find out.

Discuss? What are you love or hate about Facebook? How has it changed your life?

…lol that affects you? Well I’m sorry. Facebook is interesting but I regret adding some people I know who are illiterate or lack the need to type correctly and it annoys me. It hasn’t done much to my life, but distract me and **** me off. I talk to my friends sometimes, but that’s like it.

The only people who have defriended me on facebook are those whose profile I never really visit anyway and therefore those who I don’t mind being defriended by. Lately my biggest pet peeves are the “become a fan to see the image” thing and also getting requests for FarmVille and other time-wasting crap, I mean facebook already wastes SO MUCH of my time (along with dear CC lol) but a massive time sink within a massive time sink? That’s just to much for me.

Pros: Easy to keep in touch with my friends in the US when I’m in the UK.

Oh. And I hate people who become a fan of every friggin group and you’re “most recent” feed mainly consists of “person x became a fan of _________ and 18 other profiles” and then 2 down “same person x became a fan of ________”.

And I hate these pages where it says “become a fan to see disney’s biggest hidden secret” or something and then you become a fan and it’s like “ok, now invite 20 people.”

I’ve been defriended by some people on Facebook and it sucks and makes me feel like a loser for 5 seconds, and then I move on. Or at least try to. It kind of feels like that person is invalidating you, and despite the fact that it’s virtual and probably means nothing, it’s still not fun.

I try to be as not-annoying on Facebook as possible (By not updating my status every 2 seconds or joining TOO many fan pages). :)

OH YEAH… one more thing… I also HATE when I’m on Facebook and I see that a bunch of my friends have all gone out that night or whatever and updated their statuses/uploaded a ton of pictures and I wasn’t invited. Obviously I can’t be invited to EVERY social function, but it still makes me feel like a loser.

pssssssst there’s an app on fb that keeps track of the ppl that delete/unfriend u

and yeaaah i know it kinda hurts LOL. but just move on…doesn’t really matter…just dont be as nice to that person anymore…too bad there isn’t an app that tells u why they did that…

^^ You can only tell if you know that you were once their fb friend and when you view their page again it is the non-friend version of it. Another trick is that if you end out a friend request and if it rejected the “awaiting confirmation” turns back into the “add friend button”

Do you guys sometimes unconsciously ‘judge’ people through looking at their profile pages? For example, for someone without much facebook activity, you assume he/she doesn’t have too many friends? Or for someone without many facebook photos of himself, you assume he doesn’t leave the house much?
