FAFSA and IDOC Processing Time

I sent in my IDOC documents on Friday and when I check my status on the site, it says that they have not been received. Should I be worried or will colleges care if they arrive a day or two late?

Also, I was wondering when people generally receive the SAR after submitting the FAFSA as I submitted it late at night on Monday and haven't received anything yet. Looking at the archives, people have said that they received theirs a day after they submitted it. I'm assuming the slower response time is because of the heavy traffic during this period, but it would be nice to have someone confirm this. I've been waiting on my FAFSA to be processed so that I can check my Cal Grant status also which I am unsure about as I honestly don't really trust my school to have sent the GPA verification themselves.

Do you think if I don't received any confirmation that any of my documents have arrived by today, I should call the colleges to let them know or am I just being paranoid?

Thanks a lot for any help!

For IDOC, check online for confirmation. From the date IDOC receives your stuff, it takes 3-5 days for them to send it to colleges. If you sent it Friday, it should be logged in at IDOC by this Friday at the latest - if you are stateside. Colleges should have it no later than next Friday - probably by next Wednesday.

For FAFSA, you should get an email confirmation - if you gave them an email. You can also call FAFSA to allay your anxiety.
