slow IDOC response

I sent all of the necessary documents to the IDOC on February 15th. However, it's been almost three weeks, and the "The College Board has no record of having received my materials." Has this happened to any one else? According to the website, the processing is only supposed to take 5 days. I'm starting to get nervous -- the packet was supposed to be received by March 1st. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Should I just wait and see if they receive the packet or should I resend it?

I mailed mine on Feb. 25th and it posted today (Mar. 4). This is the day they said it was "processed" and available to my son's college, however they say it arrived Feb. 29th. They didn't post any info, though, on the 29th. Today was the first indication that it had arrived. I did not send it priority mail or anything, just regular first class.

In your case, though, Feb. 15th seems like a little bit too long ago at this point. If it was me, I'd call them and check.

Mind you, I live in Illinois so they processed it two days after I sent it. But yeah, definitely hit them up with a call.

I sent mine through express mail.
it's been 1 week since the post office said the mail was received, but still no update on the IDOC mystatus page.
Now the deadline has passed, so i sent them an email.
Guess what
still no response.
Maybe i should call.

I sent ours overnight on the 27th. Emailed them on the 4th. They said they will not acknowledge it untill they have sorted thru and confirmed everything. Then, they will post "processed". Too weird. Keep calling.

thanks everyone -- I called on Friday, and they said that I should probably just resend everything (it had been three weeks at that point). I'm very frustrated -- is there a chance that this could affect my financial aid? I'm sending a new packet priority mail tomorrow, so hopefully the IDOC will receive it sometime in the next week.

also, an additional question: my dad realized that he forgot something on the original form. Should we send the original and the 1040X, or the new, correct version of the 1040?
