i might be looking to heavily into something that is most certainly nothing but my recent email from UB about the FAFSA form ended in “see you in the fall”. I have not been accepted yet, so i do not know why they would end there email that way.

I have received the same thing! I’m thinking that we did get accepted because normally colleges only email students about financial aid if they have been accepted. If we didn’t they most likely wouldn’t have sent that email. Kind of weird timing that they sent it before they send out acceptance letters. I called a few days ago asking about when I will find out if I get accepted or not and she said beginning of February. I already knew this but she did not hint that a decision was made. I’m remaining hopeful though.

Take these kind of things with a grain of salt. It could be a form letter they adapt for each student. The financial aid office is separate from the admissions office, so until they have financial aid packages to send out I’m not sure whether or not they’d know if you were admitted. You could send admissions an email this week and ask them if it means anything. That way you’d know for sure, and if it is a form letter that’s been adapted for financial aid requests the college can change it to something more appropriate.
