FAFSA help - Have your parents lived in (state) for at least 5 years?

I’m filling out my fafsa right now, and there’s this question that’s asking if my parents have lived in Illinois for at least 5 years. So my problem is that one of my parents (mom) has only been an Illinois resident for 3 years. My stepdad, on the other hand, has been a resident for about 25 years.

So do I say yes or no?

Since your stepdad will be on your FAFSA, say yes.
