FAFSA- only 6 schools?

Fafsa only lets you list 6 schools and I have more than 6 schools. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks.

Nvm, i got it.

The FAFSA site has a new link this year. Once you put in your first 6 schools, you wait until after you're notified they've been processed (I actually waited 4-5 days after that to be sure). You go into the correction link and there is a new button that is called something like "modify schools". You delete the first 6 and add in the next six. You can redo the process over and over again as you need.

what??? you have to wait 4-5 days? But the deadlines are approaching! crap...anyone know what the FAFSA deadline is for University of California campuses? Also, in addition to modifying schools, can you also modify other information on your fafsa form again?

They told me when I called collegeboard that I could wait a day or two, but I waited 4-5 just to be sure the first six had been sent. The UC deadline is 2/15.

i did it the day after: waited for my first SAR to be sent and then immediately modified to do my second set of schools
i was worried that the first set would get eliminated or something, but i called FAFSA, and the lady assured me ALL my schools would be able to access my information.

I just did this and it was scary because the screen said: "if you delete this school they will not receive your data"
But that's only if it hasn't been processed yet, right?
IF you wait until after your SAR is received, you can delete and the schools will still get your FAFSA - is that correct?

yep, i waited five minutes after i got my SAR
to double-check (after you've received your second SAR), call FAFSA (very friendly) and ask them to give you a list of the schools your fafsa is available to. I was very relieved when she gave me the names of all 9 schools.

Great...now I have to call FAFSA to make sure, because I always just added my next 6 schools right after I got the SAR. I hope that's not bad.
