<p>How long does it take to receive a PIN after you request one? Do receive the PIN via email?</p>
<p>Usually you have the PIN back the next day . . .or within about three days if there is a rush (like there typically is around Jan 1 and around Jan 30). </p>
<p>STudent needs a PIN and parent needs a PIN.</p>
<p>Ours came by email. Definitely want to do FAFSA on line. Paper FAFSA slows down the process and that may not work to student’s advantage.</p>
