Can anyone with experience enlighten me re the 6-school limit on the FAFSA application? My twins are applying to 8 schools apiece. This morning we filed the FAFSA for 6 of their schools. When and how do we file for the remaining 2 schools? The instructions on the FAFSA site say that you have to wait until you receive the Student Aid Report (SAR) and then file a "correction" (delete the first 6 schools, add the remaining 2 schools). Again, would love to hear more about this from anyone with experience applying to 6+ schools. BTW, how long does it take to receive the SAR?

If you are filing the FAFSA on-line, you file first using 6 schools per student, Print out copies for your records (in the event that something happens.

The FAFSA is processed in approximately 3 days if you do it on-line (much longert snail mail). After it has been process, go to the section that says make corrections, then list the other schools.

Thanks, Sybbie!

Thank you very much!!
For some reason I can't print it but I copied the page to a word document...looks a little shady though.
