FAFSA Question

So I may have made a bit of a stupid mistake. I thought I'd be good if I submitted the form by the 15th (I did it on the 13th), but I just caught the deadline page on the NYU Financial Aid Office website.

"Remember, to meet the specified deadline your application, with all necessary signatures, must be received and validated by the processor and released to NYU by the date shown for priority consideration."

Does anyone know if by received and validated by the processor actually means processed officially or what? Just a little worried right now... Thanks.

this is a technical question that you might want to call the office of undergraduate admissions or the financial aid office about. you don't want to take a chance with financial aid- just go directly to the source and CALL them.

I believe I'm in a similar situation. I submitted my FAFSA on January 31st, but it wasn't processed until February 2nd. The deadline for NYU Steinhardt was February 1st. I've been accepted, but without financial aid, it will be very difficult for me to attend. I plan on calling tomorrow...

^ i believe february 1st is the deadline for steinhardt grad students, not freshmen.

i'm pretty sure that feb. 15th was the FAFSA deadline at NYU (and many places) or is it march 1st? hm!

I submitted my FAFSA to all the schools I applied to (processed this morning) because I was waiting to have a few questions answered at a local 'FAFSA DAY' event, it never occurred to me that such an event might occur after deadlines.

I Applied to NYU CAS regular decision, am I in trouble?
