FAFSA signature form

Hi, this is the situation. My parents are not AMerican citizens, but I am. we're living abroad now, only I have a SSN. My parents cannot apply for a PIN number. So is the only option the FAFSA signature form? That form doesn't require a SSN right? How much longer would it take to have my forms processed if i used a combination of a PIN signature and a paper signautre?

Bump......................

bump again

omg bump anyone plz??

From the Pin website:

Who is eligible to receive a PIN

Anyone who has a valid Social Security Number and is a U.S. Citizen or eligible Non-Citizen may apply for a PIN

So it looks like the only option is the signature page.

From the FAFSA website:

You can check the status of your application at any time, but we recommend you check the status at the following times:

* 3-5 days after submission - if you used a PIN to sign your application
*** 7-10 days after submission - if you printed, signed and mailed a signature page.**

Though if you are overseas it will obviously take longer than 7-10 days.
