and i'm doing pretty badly in ap calc
if i manage an a/b in these classes in the fourth quarter will that be enough to convince the colleges not to revoke my acceptance

Call the colleges and ask.

If it pulls your final grade up to a C or better you’ll be OK

Your final grades need to be a C. If you got an F, it means you need to work your butt off to get A’s now on.

I just need to get A’s? That shouldn’t be too hard. Fourth quarter will be the easiest this year.

So the colleges just look at final grades? Not individual quarter grades? I tried emailing two and of them just sent some automated message and the other one gave me such a lack luster reply

At least for my school, colleges only see semester grades senior year. Find out how your school works, they may never even see an F if you do well in the 4th quarter. Getting a C will keep you safe as long as you aren’t attending a Top 10/20 school.

No they won’t see quarter grades. So you need to bring that F up to an A last quarter and start working toward it ASAP. Easier said than done…
