<p>there’s no way to stop liars but the stupid ones that have basketball until 6 and at the same he/she writes i volunteered until 6, are easy to pick out but than you’d have to be a dummy</p>
<p>I’m kind of worried, because I never kept track of my community service hours. I really have no idea how many I have, so I’m worried I’ll round too high and it’ll look like I’m lying.</p>
<p>Well it’s best to be honest, but unless you’re lying really heavily (like saying 800 hours instead of 200), it probably wouldn’t be important anyways. Colleges wouldn’t pick you just cause you got 500 hours and the other guy who didn’t lie only got 400. As long as you show dedication and long term volunteering somewhere, it’s all good. And lots of people volunteer now, the hours don’t really mean anything. What looks better is if you get a leadership position IN your volunteering job (captain…leadership board…etc.)</p>
