anybody else notice that they have cut down the number of courses offered?
I need to take Chem 30AL but I see only 30BL and 30CL. Also, they used to offer honor biochemistry courses during winter quarter. Not anymore. This sucks. :(

but the schedule is still tentative though? You can't even see the professor name and time!!

yup..still tentative schedules

It's up now you ******!

will they add more sections? currently there are three lectures for math3a with 180 students in each lecture, and for winter quarter there are two lectures with 180 students enrollment each... i'm assuming they're gunna add another lecture... . . .

i don't think so because it depends on the demand on that quarter, like they don't offer chem 20a in spring at all because most people that needs it took it in the first 2 quarters already...

^ yeah but most life sci first years take math3a in the fall, and it's assumed they'll take math3b for winter quarter... you're talking about spring quarter which is after TWO quarters. they don't offer math3a in spring either because, as you said, people who needed it had two quarters to take it.

not adding another lecture to math3b means one third of currently enrolled math3a students won't get to take math3b in the winter... and this quarter math3a was pretty packed. we'll see...

hey got a question, is this schedule too little?

chem 20B
chem 20L
physics 6A.

im a first year biochem major. thats only 12 units up there. shud i add another class? i was thinkin like LS or GE.

I agree with jeyday.. so what? they're going to kick out 180 students out of doing math 3b this quarter?!

is 17units overkill for first year bio major?
i'm thinking:
LS1
Chem14B
Math3C
Spanish

well i know that they sometimes consider the fact that some people drop out of the program (plenty people do give up their med school dreams) and it really depends on how enrollment turns out, if all lectures fill up by like 1st pass and plenty people email them about not getting a spot they'll prolly add a lecture...

-psych 135
-near eastern languages 50B (origins of christianity, judaism, and islam)
-education 121 or something else if it fills
-either english 95A (intro to poetry) or psych 85 (intro to cognitive science)

if anyone has taken english 95A or psych 85... how are they?

All my classes are starting at 8am...... Hate waking up so early...

Will I have any time to not do homework with this schedule, y'know, just so I can warn my friends:

Math 115B
Math 132
PIC 10A
Philosophy 7
Comparative Literature 19 (Fiat Lux)

19 Credits.

And which of these do you suggest using priority enrollment session for? I know only 10 credits, so... Math, (PIC 10A or Phil 7), Fiat Lux, or other combination?

CS32
Math 32B
Phys 1B
Asian-American Studies 10 or EngComp 3

Chem 14B
Chem 14BL
Chem 14BH
Physics 6A

none of those crappy GE classes. i like my classes organized.

Econ 130
Chinese 100B
Mgmt. 122

Reconsidering the 2hr 20 minute long econ lecture though...@_@

Is this too much? I wonder if LS 2 is a lot of work.

Chem 14b
LS 2
GE Cluster 25B
Asian American Studies 10
