Hey all,

I am a Sophomore majoring in Accounting in SUNY Binghamton. My school is pretty cool but I really love Boston and was thinking about transferring to Wellesley or MIT Fall '09.

My stats is:
SAT CR-570
M- 670
W- 410
NO SAT IIs...
But I have pretty strong resume, I interned in two of the top Investment banks(which still exists) and at Bing my GPA is 3.75. So I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how I can make my transfer successful or if it is even possible for me? Should I retake the SAT I?
Also, would you please list any schools i can reach thus far? Thanks a lot in advance!

what are your hs stats? what are your ec's? important stuff....

your sat scores, while they usually don't matter much at this point, are nonetheless very weak...

even with an incomplete picture of your resume, i can say mit is a definite no

what are you looking for in a transfer school?

Hi dufflebagjesus,Thanks for replying!

I am looking for a school with Strong business program+located or near a nice big city
MIT has strong undergraduate business program and the business and cultrual opportunities in Boston are fantastic.

dufflebagjesus, do u think i have no chance at MIT at all? what are your suggestions?

what about boston college/boston university/nyu? mit sloan is really tough to get in however it's worth a shot if u really like it. ur ecs are really impressive. esp. Eboard of Habbitat for Humanity and Model UN and volunteer in new orleans.
i dont think u need to retake sat due to the junior standing btw.
