<p>I was just wondering if anyone got the e-mail notifying them of their dorm / roommate? I just got mine at 1:49 AM. I didn't get my first choice, but I got my 2nd choice, which is a Yulee double (I assume double because there's only 1 roommate listed). I'm really excited to say the least. Also it appears that my roommate has not yet succumbed to creating a facebook account.</p>
<p>Edit: Is Yulee an all-freshmen dorm like Simpson?</p>
<p>No, I think Simpson is the only all freshmen dorm. They also get displacement status when the year is up, so you get to pick where you want to live before anyone else (if you decide to live on campus again).</p>
<p>MY S got his too at Hume, his first choice. And the rent bill will come in 7-10 days.</p>
<p>My daughter got her first choice, a double in Broward. She is on the second floor (I can tell from the room number). She will be happy.I was hoping that she would have been on the renovated side but no, she is on the side with the old carpet and furniture (oh well).
Ksanders - Yulee is mostly freshman like most of the dorms.</p>
<p>i didnt get my email..unless it was in the spam and i accidently deleted it. but i got the summer dorm assignment the same time as everyone. Is there anyway I can check who my roommate is, since when I got the bill for summer they didnt say who my roommate was, just the room.</p>

put in your Gatorlink Id and password. Then click on Quick Links, then click on my housing, then select which term you are looking at ( must do separately for summer 2006 or Fall/Spring 2006-2007). You will get to a page that has your room info and your roommates information listed.</p>

<p>I received my housing assignment last night around 12:54 AM. I was assigned my first choice, Lakeside. After hearing numerous horror stories I was shocked to get my first choice. I applied for admission in October and sent off the housing application as soon as I received it. I guess it pays to apply as early as possible.</p>

<p>I had, like, the latest priority date EVER (March 31st), which was switched from my earlier priority date, sometime in October, because I was fluctuating between UF and UNC and got caught up, and didn't return my housing thing on time. I've been agonizing for months.</p>
<p>I got the email -- and I got my first choice, Hume! And not only that, I'm rooming with my friend, whom I requested! Holy hey! So we just got off the phone, excusing each other with "I have to go call my new roommate, bye". Oh, I'm happy.</p>

<p>My son was thrilled today when he got his second choice Fletcher, after being told he didn't have a chance being a freshman. Most of his friends got their first or second choices also. After reading and hearing about housing problems they seem to have a good job at making people happy so far.</p>
<p>I got Riker, which was my 3rd choice... I had an October priority date too...</p>
<p>I'm a little disappointed, but I guess I shouldn't have expected to get Fletcher/Sledd.</p>
