Fall Housing Assignments Out

I got Yulee, which I don't think was even one of my choices...I don't really care though.

I got Hume, which was my first choice, so I'm pretty excited.

i got Sledd
i really wanted Mallory or Broward =(

My e-mail didn't give me my roommate's name...is this the same for everyone else right now?

i got beaty towers...my first choice, so i am happy!

and my email says my roommate's names, stephen

Hume here, too!

Fletcher...my first choice...yey.

I got Springs. YEAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Yay for them coming out early!

I'm in Simpson, my second choice.

Are we supposed to be getting e-mails with our room assignments or letters in the mail. Because I got neither. And are we only being told our room assignements if we have already gone to preview?

I have not gone to preview and I received my Summer B and Fall/Spring rooming info by e-mail only so far.

I'm confused doesn't the room assignments come out in late June for people attending fall???

Yes, but some people got it earlier.

My son got his first choice of Lakeside. He's ecstatic :)

^ He's one of like 10 or 20 then, if I'm not mistaken--upperclassmen grab those dorms. Wow.

We were all told we'd be get the E-mail on June 14th for fall housing. I guess they were on top of things for most people.

Generally, its Keys or Murphree. But after that you get Springs and Lakeside.

Yeah, but Springs and Lakeside are pretty high-priority too, to my understanding.

Is Springs often primarily athletes? I've heard this but I'm not sure. I did hear an admissions officer once selling UF to some boy who was a soccer player or something and going on about the fancy dorm he'd have and how it'd be cleaned all the time and such.

I think its required that all athletes have to live in springs. (but correct me if I am wrong) I had a friend that was an RA there and they had the male tennis players on one side and the girl swim team on the other. Springs is on the same cleaning schedule as other dorms. Traditional and some suite styles (murphree) are cleaned M-F and apartments and the other suite styles (such as Springs) are cleaned once a week.

just a heads up there are a lot of mini fridges for sale on facebook. ;)

I don't think so ASMAJ..a friend of mine played varsity football like 3 years ago and he lived in an apartment
