You're applying to Illinois? I am as well. I'd say in the middle of January, I actually got a letter from them stating that I should apply then. Illinois is my safety though, Cornell is my first choice.

I'm applying to U of Illinois as well, however I'm sure you guys are applying to Urbana-Champlaign, I'm trying to get into Chicago's nursing program..It's real competitive, we'll see though. My application deadline is 10/15..UGH! That's so soon...

My major is Poli Sci everywhere except UCLA , where it will be Jewish Studies.

I have started some of my essays (I'm not even going to talk about how many I have to write with all of the schools that I am applying to....and not all of them are recyclable either.....)

Hey fellow transfers. I better be getting out of the University of Delaware next Fall. I'm a chem major now, but that should go to microbiology. Right now I'm looking at:

McGill (accepted last year, parents wouldn't let me go:(...now I don't care what they think)
UNC-Chapel Hill
University of Toronto (accepted last year, same situation)
UVA
Somewhere cheap with a good microbiology program (suggestions welcomed)

I think there is a limit of 80 semester units transferable for most berkeley programs...so I don't know what to check on the app..because I will probably be a senior transfer (over 80 semester units) when the year ends.

As for UCSD...it's just not the school for me. I'd save a lot more money, and it would be far more convenient at Berkeley as I live only 15 min. away. Berkeley is a better overall school...SD is primarily engineering and sciences from my experiences.

Anyways, start the essays early while you are still focused (not so much hw, studying, etc).
