Will have all major courses completed prior to transferring.

In Progress: Phys II, Lin. Alg, Poli Sci., Assembly Language

I am in Engr. so no I will not have any GE done.

Aiming for the UCs.

isnt the transfer application deadline like 1st of march next year or somthing?

y17, actually application comes out on OCt, it's due in the end of NOV.

We get our results late april, early may :(

When should I apply to U of Illinois? I don't even have any grades yet since the semister just started.

I dont think UCLA admits spring semester transfers. But, I may be mistaken. After all, I dont know much about the UC system.

You're applying to Illinois? I am as well. I'd say in the middle of January, I actually got a letter from them stating that I should apply then. Illinois is my safety though, Cornell is my first choice.

I'm applying to U of Illinois as well, however I'm sure you guys are applying to Urbana-Champlaign, I'm trying to get into Chicago's nursing program..It's real competitive, we'll see though. My application deadline is 10/15..UGH! That's so soon...

William and Mary currently attending UF taking 16 credits currently have a 4.0, first semester tho

Russian Studies major at wm, russian at uf main reason I'm swtiching

What are your guys stats for Illinois?

About Me:

EC's: Model UN, Hillel, working 20 hours a week, volunteering at the Art Museum in town.

Hooks: URM, former foster child...

applying to:

Mills (Match)
Smith (reach)
Sarah Lawrence (reach)
Wellesley (high reach)
UCLA (high reach)
UCSD (reach)
UCSB (reach)
UCSC (reach)
CSU Fullerton (Safety)
UCR (Safety)
SDSU (Reach)
Scripps (High Reach)
Pepperdine (high reach)

My major is Poli Sci everywhere except UCLA , where it will be Jewish Studies.

I have started some of my essays (I'm not even going to talk about how many I have to write with all of the schools that I am applying to....and not all of them are recyclable either.....)

Hey fellow transfers. I better be getting out of the University of Delaware next Fall. I'm a chem major now, but that should go to microbiology. Right now I'm looking at:

McGill (accepted last year, parents wouldn't let me go:(...now I don't care what they think)
UNC-Chapel Hill
University of Toronto (accepted last year, same situation)
UVA
Somewhere cheap with a good microbiology program (suggestions welcomed)

I'm currently a UCSD mol. bio sophomore in Revelle College, and I intend to transfer to Berkeley.

I have a 3.8 with 95.5 quarter units.

I'm not sure if UCB will treat the GPAs from others UCs and CCCs on a parallel level.

courses completed: chem 6a-c, math 20a-c, lit german 2a-c, french lit2a, hum1,...and a couple jc courses.

in progress: ochem, german 100, ethn 1a, physics 2a, 1 seminar

I think there is a limit of 80 semester units transferable for most berkeley programs...so I don't know what to check on the app..because I will probably be a senior transfer (over 80 semester units) when the year ends.

As for UCSD...it's just not the school for me. I'd save a lot more money, and it would be far more convenient at Berkeley as I live only 15 min. away. Berkeley is a better overall school...SD is primarily engineering and sciences from my experiences.

Anyways, start the essays early while you are still focused (not so much hw, studying, etc).

fute, have u taken any bio classes? it won't be easy if u didn't,,,

I took the AP bio and got a 4...at SD it satisfies the entire gen. bio requirement for the GE and the major.

I'd find out how UCB would do it cause UCLA won't do it. BTW i got a 4 as well in 2002

yes it satifies UCB's bio1a/b with 4 or higher.

http://www.reshall.berkeley.edu/academics/resources/handouts/majors/ib.doc

oh ok nice. My bad.

hey np man....im more concerned with my essays right now and lack of ec...if theyll accept me
