seems like the may 4-5 date was for the applicant who needed a faster response because of a deposit conflict

Whether you have a deposit conflict or not, the director clearly told me that EVERYONE will get their decision the SAME day. That day will be around May 5 and no later than May 15.

Why so serious?
The funny part about it is that I have a physics exam on the 5th.
If I were to bomb the exam and come home to find a rejection, I would be very, very close to falling into a mental state of depression.
IF, on the other hand, I bomb the exam and I get admission to Columbia… I would most likely take my pants off and run all around my block in my boxers yelling EUREKA!
Feel me?

ahahahah I can feel you

oui oui, je comprends parfaitement. i too have finals all through next week.

Same, but the week after. So, May 15th are the decisions?

yeah. that has been their official notification date all along on their website and print media outlets. the only reference to may 5th, is some phone call.

Will we find out online through our application tracking, or in the mail? Both?

Probably both…

Haha! Sorry for being so serious! I’ve been losing sleep over transfer decisions! ARGH!

on the other hand, can you guys believe we are so close to decisions?? i feel like it was just yesterday that i was even making the decision to apply last july…

Hi everyone,
I don’t understand something though… If they would update their tracking website to put decisions, why don’t they let us know in advance? That seems weird to me. I just got accepted to Cornell, and received my acceptance through regular mail but online it still says my application is “under review”

By the way, Violaghost, you applied to both Cornell and Columbia? :)

Frui, got accepted to Cornell? Wonderful brah…
Now just email Columbia telling them you want to withdraw your transfer app. :D

That would help us out… i think*

Apparently, four of my friends told me that they got their notifications from Columbia (2 accepted and 2 rejected). However, I have always thought that they decision would come out in 5/15, but they told me that it was like a “rolling-process.” I just want to make sure whether they are joking with me or not because I am literally freaking out… Your insights will be greatly appreciated…
