Fall 2011 Acceptances

Haha I know, just a thought. We were talking about how it’s finals week on the drive here. I just came with a friend who was already going. I love the weather here, and we ate at this really good Mexican place for dinner.

I’m nervous/excited for decisions… I really love it here.

@spatel23: You think UCs are picky if I’m in Pre-Cal instead of higher level Calculus? I’m in Honors, so that’s a point, isn’t it?

I swear, UCSD must be taking their pleasure time with our applications, smoking their cigarettes and drinking beer. The cake is a lie.

Well I think I’m gonna go to bed. Tour at eleven tomorrow. Good luck on finals, UCSD students!

Soooo any ideas on what the point cutoff will be? I’m hoping 7900…(although it’s prolly more than that…)

@AtticLights

What makes you think it’s more?

I’d say it’d be 7950 at most.

I also envy theleakers napping ability, AtticLights. He seems to regularly fall out mid discussion. LOL. I’m hitting the bed too. Enjoy your tour Jesuis. Talk with you all tomorrow.

just woke up …
I think after I added up all my points, I barely crack 7000, sheeeet, I think I am hosed once again !!!
dang, life is cruel …

@theleakers

how do you only have 7000? I don’t believe you.

I think Donald Trump should have a show for the college freshman applicant apprentice !!!

I have no EC, no leadership, not first generation and my folks are not poor …
it really does not look good … come on UCSD, I am begging you …

I probably have 3800 for GPA, 2900 for standardized test, 250 for classes beyond a-g
that is 6950, NO ???

no awards?

@theleakers: How did you even calculate your score? Is there an equation or something? I must know it now. I probably didn’t get in though…my grades aren’t that impressive.

@rain
[ucsd score](http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pKB1yD5iQn_8wqH5bhMkhZw)

Also, note that you get half points if one of your parents(only one) is a 2 year college/university graduate, then you get 150 points for first generation. If you have a single parent household, then you get 250 points in the trauma section.

On a side note…I should be doing my Physics homework…

7752 ish at the least…do you think diamond bar high school will really get 0 points on educational environment…its damn hard on gpa lol

Update… from Ms.Sun blog …Sandeigo comes out this upcoming saturday march 19th…>_< but unverified though…

@JeSuis

You might have seen me if I actually got the job as a tour guide when I applied for it. I also find it amazing that you can get from where you live to Davis in an hour and a half. You must drive really fast.

does he have a drivers license ???

officially shutting this thread down and will re-open next Saturday !!!

@dacrz

It matters how poor the school is, not how competitive. The worse of the school, the harder it is to excel academically due to social and economic factors. (ex. ghetto area where crime is recurrent)
