Invictvs, so calling and asking if your application is under review or if they’ll be needing more info is okay on their part? Doesn’t bug them?

my CU admissions decision is so big because it is what’s the deciding factor between taking summer school (which starts may 23rd and has deadlines prior), going home for the summer, or doing an internship – all of which can’t be done on a super last minute basis

She said she could tell me, I’ll call again tomorrow. How irritating

See I called because I received an email asking to apply for June 1st, and I said wait! I already applied EA so why are they sending me this? (ended up being just a promotional email), but I thought maybe something didn’t go through right with my app and so I called. In that process they told me that my app was under review. However, if you show all your information is complete when you log on the website (except for your current transcript which should state “provisional/pending”) and you applied EA, chances are you are under review.
I don’t see why it would bother them if you inquire about your app, it is not like you are asking them for the decision, you just want to make sure everything is progressing as it should and that it is under review. (I look at it as being proactive ).

Trust ne the person could not care a gram about proactivity. I will call again tho

Ahhh…nice long weekend. Anyone hear back today?

I was told today by GS that if your EA and have pending transcripts you will be notified by may 1 wether your admitted or need to submit final transcripts

Nothing on my end bax

Hmmm…I think a trip to the city is in order. Walk around campus then maybe go grab a burger and shake at the Shake Shack lol. Well hopefully it will be consistently nice out soon

when do you plan on visiting bax?

i am thinking i will go in june sometime. i am excited about my “academic planning session”.

Not sure yet, I don’t live far so I will plan around my academic planning session and when I get the hankering for a Shake Shack burger lol

No call, no FedEx envelope, and, most importantly, no rejection letter! So it’s Brohli, Invic, Random, Juniper, Philly, Johnny, and the one with the lowest chances (myself) left right?

james how did your woman’s birthday go?? i was in the lego store at the glendale mall on sat and i thought of you!

whatever happened to johnny? havent seen him post in a while.

Don’t give up James …focus on the dim light at the end of the tunnel! Only 1.3 week left …hang on…yoy can do it!! Lol :D

I’m at the galleria every other day Liz! The woman’s birthday is on Wednesday (ahem GS! Please let me know by then! cough!). I actually wandered around the Lego store on Friday while I was waiting for something to be processed at the Apple store. The best moms (ie Liz) get their kids Legos!

I’m maintaining my sanity Invic! Barely.

My son is four and he could literally spend a week in the Lego store if I let him. I take the tots there when I am tired of entertaining them ; )

Or occasionally I get real classy and take them to the mcdonalds in silver lake. They eat French fries, play with strange dirty children, and I get to write papers on my laptop with the free wi-fi. I’d say it’s a win-win situation.

And James! You are getting in dang it!

@Liz not many play places(in mcd’s) here, but plenty of parks and playgrounds and tons of stuff for kids to do. (a trip across the hudson to the liberty science center)

Yay to this being the most popular and viewed thread on this forum lol

Not to make light of the tedious suffering to which you’re all being submitted (although for some it’s over, yay!) through the course of the wait for an admissions decision, but this thread is now like a soap opera to which I tune in every day. Who’ll be in? Who’ll be out? (Nobody yet . . . fingers crossed). Drama and intrigue! Tune in next time . . .

Seriously though, congrats and good luck to all.

@Musaeum you’re right, now that i got the call it has become far more of a drama than it was before. probably because i no longer have to suffer like the others have to. although i am interested as to who will be joining me in september. again, good luck to all!!
