Fall 2013 Freshmen Housing Questions

As with many other threads, I was also admitted for the fall semester in Computing Engineering.

I was wondering if anyone knew whether an undergrad could get into the Bousfield Hall (or any other dorms with single room/private bath)?

I'm not agoraphobic or anything, but I really want a room with a priv. bath.
Of course, I hope to meet many people (party anyone?) and involve myself in clubs and whatnot.

I don't have any complaints with sharing a room but was just wondering if there is a possibility for a single suite, priv. bath room.
If not, no matter I guess.

Thanks in advance!

bump~ help anyone?

Campus Housing is who you should call on this, and I’m not sure if there are any room layouts that don’t at least share a bathroom with one or more students.

I would really advise against living in a single your freshman year. You’ll miss out on part of the “college experience” in my opinion. It’ll be more difficult to meet people and socialize because of your isolation.

Unfortunately, Bousfield Hall is full. (And so is nugent). Your only real chance is if many upper classmen decide to move out of university housing, opening up space. You’d also have to be one of the first people registered for housing, which means accepting your offer earlier.

i also do not advise on staying alone the first time…you miss out on the social aspect of it. also I heard PAR is pretty good…though a little far from main quad…but again with convenient bus service that shd not be a prob at all
