Hi guys, I have confirmation that I have a similar message. Want an english and math placement test, as well as final high school transcripts. Agreed with Coaster ^. Looks good imo. =) Keep updating!

My sons account now has the same incomplete/final transcript status.

I also noticed the same incomplete notification and requirements in my Bronco Direct account. No email about the Honors college though.

Same here^

Final transcript is kind of part of your application. They ideally want to see what you’ve done so far and make sure that you don’t screw around afterwards. It is not necessarily a sign of admittance.

GPA: 3.57

When is the deadline for the supplemental application? I did not even get a confirmation e-mail after I submitted my app. I am hoping it didn’t go to my spam mail. Don’t ask me why I am only taking care of it now.

@samthesham

You really should check your spam mail box, because I received an email that said “Claim Your Cal Poly Pomona” account that told me the details on how I can access BroncoDirect.

I applied on 11/25, and I got that email 12/07.

From there, any news will be told through your BroncoDirect account.

I’m a transfer student too, and I don’t know what this supplemental deal is about. I don’t see anything on my To Do list, nor do I see anything in my inbox. It just says my application is complete.

I am a transfer student also, computer engineering 3.6 gap, and I also got my email from cal poly in December…I my application say I need to turn in my transcripts from community college by January 31st

They ask for transcripts? Must’ve been an impacted thing because I have nothing in to todo list…

Oh… But there’s one thing,

“Admission Decision 2012-13”.

That’s so 2 years ago, I hope this doesn’t affect my current decision in a bad way

Hello. I just wanted to let you all know that I contacted admissions because the “to do list” didn’t make sense to me. It asks for placement tests, official SAT/ACT and transcripts. The “to do list” is not necessarily for the student/applicant to complete. It is actually somewhat a list for their internal departments to take care of. Just keep checking your BroncoDirect account as they are currently uploading pertinent info including SAT/ACT scores. Keep in mind that certain scores/criteria can exempt individuals from the placement tests. Some of those items on your “to do list” should disappear as soon as their departments upload your scores, etc.
I hope this helps or at least makes sense.

Usually most csu’s want transfer student to send in transcripts for the previous fall grades, which they tell us in to the “to do” section…I know this because I was accepted to csusb and csuf last fall and they asked for the same thing as cal poly pomona is asking for now…im not sure about freshmen but transfer students should do everything on their “to do” list.

I have nothing on my to-do list. Do all transfer students have to send in transcripts unless it’s only if they ask for it? I’m still confused seeing all of these things happening @___@

Oh, rarias2010 that makes sense! I appreciate your input. This whole process is pretty dizzying. I’m glad to share what I learn and am very grateful to hear words of experience, strength and hope from those who’ve already been through this process. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Thanks for the input. I got my account squared away.

I have another dilemma though: On my CSUmentor app I said that I would finish Calc III and PHYS 4B (electric/magnet) by fall of '13. Things happened and I had to take a W for both classes. Admissions will see that on my transcript. But! I am repeating these courses in the spring of '14. Does this severely hurt my chances of being accepted? Will I be able to show that I finished them in the spring before they tell me whether or not I am admitted? Thanks

@samthesham im not sure if it severely hurts yours chances for admissions, but it doesn’t help your chances either. On the bright at least your still eligible…the second part of your question on whether you could show you passed both before decisions come out…the answer is probably not admission because csu’s are already being released, I got into csusb today :), and im assuming your spring semester ends in may/June…I know impacted majors will have to wait a little longer for their admission decision but I doubt it will anywhere past beginning of april

I believe impacted actually hear earlier. I think they find out beginning in Feburary and non finds out beginning in March.

I just sent an email to the admissions office, and they said that they’re looking to start sending out admission notifications within the next month.

For the to-dos in cal poly pomona what if you sent your SAT scores but it says that you need to send your SATs what does that mean?

@bryanmondragon
Inquired about that last week and was assured that scores are there but have not yet been uploaded into their system. Keep checking the portal.

Just checked BroncoDirect out of habit.

Admitted!!!

Holy crap I’m excited!!! Hahaha
