Hi I thought that I would start a thread for people who are trying to transfer internally into the Business school.
I am a sophomore with a 3.62 (3.77 Gateway GPA), three extracurricular activities (leadership in all) and working a part time job at an electronics store. I have also applied to and got accepted into a fellowship program. What are my chances? I talked to an LEP adviser thinking that they would tell me that Im pretty much in but to my surprise they were not very reassuring. Does anybody who recently got in have an idea of how competitive it really is? It seems like it is getting more competitive.

Thanks! I will be double majoring in Finance and MIS. I am not sure exactly which field I want to focus more on so I applied to the IT fellows program hoping to learn more about it.

@McIntireguy123 what have you heard about the GPA needed to get in as an internal transfer? I’m a freshman, I have a 3.65, and I’m applying in the Fall. thanks
Ive heard that 3.5 is a good bet but you also need to show that you have done well in the gateway classes.
