Hey, Just wondering how hard is it to get into the smith school?
I'm a sophomore who had a 3.4 but I had a rough semester and ended up having a 3.1 cumulative :(

I know that's a really bad GPA for Smith but I also have a Campus job and am in Campus clubs

I do volunteer work and Will be able to have good recommendations from my teachers

My SATS from HS were also great (2100)

So what are my chances?

I really need to get into SMITH! any advice is appreciated :)

just to clarify: this is an internal transfer question (i’m already attending the University of Maryland)

I’m a soph preparing for smith also. I heard from a friend that because smith is so competitive, they cut people with below certain gpa even before looking through your resume, essay, etc.
You should probably look at something else to do. It’s unlikely you’ll get into smith with that gpa.

I was accepted with a 3.3

CreaTeen, congrats on getting in! Any advice…were you in clubs or anything as well?

lol sorry for the late reply, but I was in the ABA(accounting and business association)
