Ah, I always enjoy seeing our friends from Berkeley comment on UCLA threads!!

@Zalrons

In their hearts, they secretly wished they could change their SIR to UCLA after the deadline passed. :)

@cayton, for sure! >:)

@Cayton

[-X

@ocnative

You keep on telling yourself that. :)

@Cayton We’re happy students of the University of California.

@calbro

Well, we’re all students of the University of California. :)

@Cayton

Berkeley and UCLA will always have a sibling rivalry, lol.

@ocnative Ugly stepchildren forced upon us.

@calbro

I would say that we’re your UC “baby.” UCLA was called “University of California, Southern Branch” at one point.

@Cayton So what’s our relationship with the other UCs? I guess UC Davis would be another legitimate kid… =))

You guys are up to? What are you guys doing up this late?

Just got home from the Arctic Monkeys concert. Watching some YouTube. You?

@calbro

Oh awesome was it good? Meet any girls? I’m just watching parks and rec and reading stuff on CC

@music1990 It was pretty awesome. I can’t believe the semester is going to start so soon. Wasn’t looking for any girls .

@calbro

UCLA is the only child that Berkeley planned for. The others are adopted/unwanted. :))

@music1990

I’m a night owl.

I was supposed to have orientation today and changed it to monday session because of something and it didn’t even end up happening. I could be at orientation right now and have my classes tonight…. ■■■

My kids are adopted. I don’t really like that analogy. Seriously. It perpetuates something negative.

I know you didn’t mean it that way but it just shows how stereotypes inadvertently continue.

@lindyk8

I’m sorry if I have offended you. I mean no offense to adopted their children or their parents.

I know. I can tell you’re very kind and thoughtful. I’m pointing it out mainly because lots of times ppl say stuff like that without meaning it. But ppl who are adopted read those things. No worries.
