Fall 2015 UCLA transfer students

Ah, I always enjoy seeing our friends from Berkeley comment on UCLA threads!!

@Zalrons‌

In their hearts, they secretly wished they could change their SIR to UCLA after the deadline passed. :slight_smile: :)

@cayton, for sure! >:)

@Cayton‌

[-X

@ocnative‌

You keep on telling yourself that. :)

@Cayton‌ We’re happy students of the University of California.

@calbro‌

Well, we’re all students of the University of California. :)

@Cayton‌

Berkeley and UCLA will always have a sibling rivalry, lol.

@ocnative‌ Ugly stepchildren forced upon us.

@calbro‌

I would say that we’re your UC “baby.” UCLA was called “University of California, Southern Branch” at one point.

@Cayton‌ So what’s our relationship with the other UCs? I guess UC Davis would be another legitimate kid… =))

You guys are up to? What are you guys doing up this late?

Just got home from the Arctic Monkeys concert. Watching some YouTube. You?

@calbro‌

Oh awesome was it good? Meet any girls? I’m just watching parks and rec and reading stuff on CC

@music1990‌ It was pretty awesome. I can’t believe the semester is going to start so soon. Wasn’t looking for any girls :stuck_out_tongue: .

@calbro‌

UCLA is the only child that Berkeley planned for. The others are adopted/unwanted. :))

@music1990‌

I’m a night owl.

I was supposed to have orientation today and changed it to monday session because of something and it didn’t even end up happening. I could be at orientation right now and have my classes tonight…. ■■■

My kids are adopted. I don’t really like that analogy. Seriously. It perpetuates something negative.

I know you didn’t mean it that way but it just shows how stereotypes inadvertently continue.

@lindyk8‌

I’m sorry if I have offended you. I mean no offense to adopted their children or their parents.

I know. I can tell you’re very kind and thoughtful. :slight_smile: I’m pointing it out mainly because lots of times ppl say stuff like that without meaning it. But ppl who are adopted read those things. No worries. :smiley: :smiley:
