s my chance of getting invited for applying the regents scholarship slim? I am an international student from Japan with 4.0 gpa, but didn’t submit fafsa. I am a U19 representative of Japan national soccer team.
UCLA does not provide any kind of scholarship to internationals. So if you did not get the email, no worries.

Got the invite, 4.0 Pre-econ. My ECs are ok; I spend less than an hour on each essay prompt, but I felt that they represented me fairly well.

Got an invite! I’m also a one year transfer majoring in pre-psych! 4.0 GPA but still really surprised that I got invited. I spent so little time on my essays and tbh, they kinda sucked. Also, does anyone else feel like 10 days is way too little to ask for a letter or rec?

LInguistics major, 3.92 GPA, lots of ECs, spent a boatload of time on my personal statement (but it still may have sucked)

For those who are curious, here is the prompt:
“What do you hope to accomplish after you complete your academic career and how do you think your goals will impact society? (300 word maximum)”
I have a feeling I’ll be accepted for my alternate because it’s less impacted which I have no problem with- it will help me more with pre-med: Anthro the BA. Thoughts on the rep of the anthro program at UCLA? I’ve heard of good forensics there.
How is everyone holding up? Are you on break? What schools are you waiting to hear back from and when? Hope all is well with you guys.
Do regular admissions start the 17th?

@Grinsley My bad, it is. Looked it up right after–it is. It’s not impacted at UCSD anymore, so I confused it.
