lol I hope I get accepted to UCLA so I could digest a Berkeley rejection
Last year, UCLA waitlisted me and made me anxious for more than 2 months and then rejected me, which is why I hate UCLA so bad. I applied to UCLA this year too because I was mad. I’ll get the fucking acceptance letter from them and go to Berkley

Last year I applied as psyc major with 3.85 GPA, this year I applied as Cog-Sci major with 3.91.

@anxiousmac I don’t think any school releases on the weekdays. Due to the fact they want to avoid students calling and asking why they didn’t accepted the day after. Friday is probably the day :-SS

@dkarbcs That is my biggest fear lol. I meant to request the 22nd off from work because I already predict that I won’t be able to deal emotionally with the outcome whether it is good or bad.
Unfortunately, I am scheduled a night shift starting at 5:30 and I leave at 5 to head to work, so my options are either log in at 5 quickly before I go to work despite the likelihood of a server crash from people checking at once and risk being late, check it when I get there and be a mess, or wait until after work but probably die of anxiety from waiting all night lol.
@Grinsley Alternatively, you can go into the bathroom at work and check it on your phone. Or have your friend check it for you.

@Hiroaki0422 You will get in lol. Cognitive science is easy to get into. Last year in my orientation group, they let people switch from cog sci to psychology. Not sure if they’ll do that this time.
FYI, UCLA is ranked higher in psychology than Cal. Choose UCLA.
UCLA changed the regents due date to the 24th, so we might not get our decisions this Friday haha…
Or they are making it so those who don’t get in do not submit applications. Then they would have less to read in order to chose who to award the scholarship to.
I thought the Regents deadline was always the 24th? That’s what it said for me the first day I looked at it…
@goldencub I thought it was originally on a Thursday, but I could be wrong. Anyhow, having the due date for regents after the decision day seems pretty weird still…
