@dreamla when you apply for housing youcan choose the transfers learning living community or living learning community forgot the order and it’s basically like a dorming full of transfers. That’s how youre most likely to room with other transfers also they throw some fun events organized by the transfers :slight_smile:

Anyone apply for the university apartments who may be looking for a roommate?

Hey guys, how do I go about sending in my transcripts from my CC to UCLA? I just got my final spring grades in and I want to send them in ASAP before June 1.

If your Spring grades are posted unoffocially, then you can order your transcripts from your CC. Go online to your CC and search for “transcripts” for your CC’s specific instructions. Send from each CC/college you’ve attended, to:

If you only have through Fall or Winter grades, order them no later than mid-next week so they can be sent and processed before 6/1. Then order again once your Spring grades have posted, by 7/1.

If you met IGETC, make sure it is listed on your transcript. Each CC is different in how they go about relaying this information.

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure Admissions has received your transcripts by the due dates!

@Happy2Help does it hve to be every single CC I’ve attended or if they’re sister schools (Santa Ana College and Santiago canyon College) would it be ok to have them sent altogether just from SCC?

Hi @uclahopeful2017 In your case for those CCs, I believe only one is needed because they have access to both - at least that was how it was in 2014. Go to either in person for a free transcript and they will tell you for certain.

Also, if your IGETC certification is with Cypress, then if you took IGETC classes at SAC/SCC, you’ll have to send transcripts to Cypress to get the IGETC certified.

I took care of the IGETC certification and sent transcripts from SAC which had SAC’s and SCC’s grades so I think it’s still the same as in 2014 thankfully. Thanks again for your help

All of the transcripts you’ve sent so far without Spring grades say pending, right?

How can we check if UCLA received our transcripts?

@LynAmmo Yes, it should say pending.

@LynAmmo In addition to it saying “pending.” It should also say “A preliminary transcript has been received from XYZ college. A final transcript is still required.”

@jae2017 log into to your MyUCLA account, and the transcript status will be on the first page that pops up upon logging in. Titled “ADMISSIONS HOME”

OMG, congratulations to ALL the transfers! I recommend you start studying for your first midterms now, lol. Kind of serious…

@DonGately16 thank you! I don’t see that yet. Prob because I haven’t SIR’d but had to send transcripts cause some of them are coming from out of the country.
