Fall 2017

Hello everyone! So I’m almost done with my first year of cc and I’m planning on transferring in about 3/4 semester. I pretty much decided on a major [psychology] and I’m working toward my associate of arts. I’ll have a good chunk of it done after this semester but I have a bunch of elective type credits to finish it.

Next semester im planning on taking a basic math online [6 credits] and some type of science + lab. Most likely human bio [4 credits]. I want to take about 15 credits per semester so I’ll get done a bit faster. I’m just lost on what 2/3 classes I should take.

I want to take a psych class for sure [abnormal psych. I took Intro last semester and honors life span this semester] but im not sure if i should add another one? [Social, adolescent, ect] or some other type of class. I’m almost finished with my communications requirements [I just need to take some type of language or another English class. I do want to take English but I wanna focus on math] and my other choices include history [taking one this semester], sociology, anthropology, art, music, etc. Would it be wise to take two psych classes in one semester? I know when i start university I’ll be taking multiple ones at the same time but i wasn’t sure. I truly do love psychology but I wasn’t sure if i should just take one psych and some other class or just take two at the same time. I know that sometimes it overlaps [especially if their similar].

Hopefully this made sense and wasn’t too long!

Do the psych classes mean a lot of reading? You should keep that in mind because that can be a real big chunk of your time depending on how fast you read.

A fair amount. But so do history/english/sociology/other similar classes. Either way I’ll have a bunch of reading. I’m taking a history and a psych class this semester and both are fairly equal in terms of reading
