HI! So I do realize every CC is different and classes depend on how willing you are to work/your professor. However, I need some advice on my classes I picked for my Spring semester. I’m planning on majoring in Psychology (eventually go on to get my graduates, I’m aware you need to go to get a good job) but I’m electing to not take a psych class next semester. Mainly because as much as I love it I’ve taken multiple for these last three semesters (met all my requirements for my liberal arts to transfer) and I want to explore my other passion: english! It knocks out requirements too so that’s a plus.
Also, I’m still in development math for various reasons. Mainly because of my poor study skills and inability to calculate things in my head due to always being able to use a calculator. But I hope to pass it this semester and move onto the next which will still not be college mathematics but close. (I have a 3.9 in my classes and math is my only struggle, everything else such as psych, english, science, history, etc I can handle)
ANYWAYS, I was wondering if someone could tell me if this schedule next semester will be a bad idea or if they ever took any classes similar?
MATH (no clue what one yet)
ART1600 INTRODUCTION TO ART THERAPY (technically psychology in a way. Which is another reason I decided to not pick another psych class)
ENG2601 Literature for Adolescents and Children (SUPER EXCITED FOR THIS but kind clueless on what it is. There’s a bunch of books listed like common children’s book, Harry Potter, etc in the bookstore. The description said it will explore and teach us how to write for the genre. Always wanted to be a children’s/adolescents author but never had the guts to take it)
ENG2730 Exploration of World Mythology (love mythology but don’t know if two english classes will be difficult)
JMC1310 Film Appreciation (knocks out a requirement, actually after this semester all I need is college math and electives to get to the required amount of credits and I can graduate)
ANYTHING WILL HELP!
