Hi,
My son is transferring to the UF business school beginning in Fall 2020. His summer internship was canceled due to Covid-19, so he would like to take classes in Summer B in order to stay busy this summer and make progress on his school plans (he is planning on minoring in English and Mass Communications and only has four semesters to do that).
He has already been told by his advisor that he can’t take Summer B classes, so I am just asking here in case someone knows another way to crack this.
Thanks!
Unfortunately there isn’t. Business does not admit students summer B and with so many UF students taking summer classes who normally don’t, there isn’t room for more students. We aren’t even allowing transient students in most cases and summer is the only semester that is normally available.
Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I am currently in the same situation as your son was back in 2018. I am currently enrolled on FSU, but I was denied admission to my first choice UF, where my brother is currently a rising senior. My desire to attend UF has not changed, and I currently has no desire to attend FSU. What ended up happening with your situation. I hope it can give me some insight to help me make a descion between UF and Sante Fe.
